I will be in Oklahoma a week from today! :) My bag is packed and my heart is filled with
excitement for the experience. Before I leave though, I wanted to take the time to share my
verse for the summer. It is 1 Peter 4:11 which says, "Whoever speaks is to do so as one
who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is
serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be
glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and
ever. Amen." I love this verse because it is specific about service and
speaking....both of which I will be doing this summer. My prayer is that God will be glorified
and that I would grow to learn how to serve Him faithfully.
Rachel, I am so proud of you. God has a special purpose for you this summer. Enjoy serving the Lord. Have fun and let God use you how and where He has purposed you. He will grow you as you are in his word and service. I am excited to see how he will use you and grow you this summer. "Be still and know I am God" Ps. 46:10 I love you. You are in my prayers.
